Multimedia Product Specialist (based in Shanghai)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the development of a corporate video library on www.xprn.com: contact companies and organizations to collect quality corporate videos, still photos that will be stored on xprn.com;

2. Assist the multimedia product manager in the development and marketing of XPRN multimedia products that include photo, multimedia news release production and distribution, web-casting, etc; identify and work with various partners to develop the production capabilities for these services and also work with web portals, mobile phone and other PDA content providers to establish distribution networks for XPRN’s multimedia content;
 
3. Work with sales team to help create proposals for clients andwork with third party vendors and manage the fulfillment of client orders for our multimedia services.
 
Job Qualifications:

1. Experience in video production, photography, or web-casting;

2. Very good understanding of the latest applications of online multimedia content production and distribution;

3. A basic understanding of media, public relations and investor relations;

4.Strong business acumen;

5. Minimum 5 years of experience in media or related fields;

6. Fluent in both Chinese & English;

7. Passionate about the industry and willing to learn and to work hard.

Position Overview:
Xinhua Finance is looking for a qualified, proactive and self-motivated individual to enhance the Group's communication capability. Job Responsibilities:

  • Format press releases for global distributions
  • Edit and proofread press releases in English and Chinese
  • Co-ordinate distribution wrap-up traffic, set up supplementary distribution for main circuits
  • Call clients to update account profiles
  • Assist handling client enquiries

 

Requirement:

  • Associate degree or above holder with major preferably in Translation/Languages
  • Excellent Chinese and English communication skills; Knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage

Responsibilities for Senior IR Associate include:

Economist, G7 Group (Base in Beijing)

Based in Beijing, the G7 Group Economist will likely have previous relevant experience (5-10 years)  as an economist / analyst at the PBoC and/or at the ministerial level in China. Ideally, the successful candidate will have been in an advisory capacity to policy decision makers.

Other key requirements for the candidate / position include:

  • Excellent communications skills (written & verbal), in English and Chinese.
  • Insightful views on macro and central bank policy in China, and the associated impact on financial markets / sectors.
  • Anticipate policy changes within China, and explain their impact to clients.
  • Develop dialogue with clients, and assist them in understanding macro policy in China, the scope for policy change, and the range of views among policymakers and their influence.
  • Monitor economic conditions & forecasting in China and understand how these conditions may impact Chinese macro policy.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues / analysts to leverage existing / future content, and to produce a regular flow of written analytical content for G7 publications to clients.
  • Travel internationally as appropriate to visit with clients.
